We warmly welcome contributions in the field of wetland research, including ecological, hydrological, biogeochemical, conservation, restoration, and management perspectives.
Researchers, practitioners, early-career scientists, and students are all encouraged to participate.
Please indicate whether you intend to submit an oral (12+3 min), brief oral (2 min), or a poster presentation.
All submitted material must be in English, the official language of the conference.
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations should be a maximum of 300 words, with a title of up to 20 words.
No references should be included in the abstract.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the abstract is free of typographical and grammatical errors.

Student Travel Grants:
SWS Europe will offer four travel grants (250 Euros each) for students to attend the 2026 annual meeting in České Budějovice, Czechia. The grants are intended to help cover travel costs for students who will present their research at the annual meeting.
Applications from all eligible students are warmly encouraged.
The SWS Europe annual meeting offers an excellent opportunity for students to present their work, receive feedback, and connect with researchers working in related fields.
How to apply:
Submit a letter (no longer than one A4 page) containing the following information:
- who are you
- what do you study
- what will be the topic of your presentation (you will need to submit an abstract)
- how attending the conference will benefit you
- why you should receive a grant
