Tomáš Picek
Researcher at the Department of Ecosystem Biology, Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Czechia, and a member of the Peatland Ecology Group. His research focuses on peatland and wetland ecosystem ecology, particularly soil processes, nutrient cycling, and plant–soil interactions. He investigates how environmental change and land management affect biogeochemical processes and ecosystem functioning, combining field experiments with ecosystem-scale approaches.
