Jessica Reyes Rojas

Postdoctoral researcher at the Peatland Ecology Group, Department of Ecosystem Biology, Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Her research focuses on soil variability and digital soil mapping, with an emphasis on the application of spectroscopy and machine learning for soil analysis. She studies soil organic carbon and carbonate dynamics across spatial scales using VIS–NIR and DRIFT spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, and chemometric modelling. Her work also addresses soil ecosystem services and soil threats, contributing to large-scale assessments and the development of reproducible, data-driven approaches for soil monitoring and sustainable land management."
